All things pink

Eating homemade strawberry ice cream for dinner. (Jack is finally cutting his 2 year molars. This is the last time he will be teething. What better way to celebrate than ice cream for dinner?)
Making shell wreaths. I painted the wreath form pink first.
I actually really like this picture of it, but I was sure someone would ask to see more.
Painting the old magazine holder pink. It still isn't gorgeous, but it was David's grandparents, so it is sentimental and here to stay either way. (And now you can see what I have been reading, since this photo is not staged in anyway.)

  2. Your seashell wreath is so cut! I'm guessing you bought the seashells. :) I collect them on the shore but they never look as nice as those, LOL. I may still try a wreath though, yours is so pretty! Is the wreath form wooden?

  4. I really like the pink magazine rack - my great grandparents had a pink house, so it seems fitting to me that something with that sort of a history would be pink.

  6. Ice cream for dinner!? *gasp*

We're having ice cream cake for dinner - that's what Sugar said he wanted, and instead of forcing him to pick 'real' food, I just bought the dang cake.

    I love the seashell wreath!

  13. I love the painted magazine rack. Its amazing what a little paint can do, but addicting. I find myself walking around the house with a spray paint can, just looking for something to paint. :)

  16. Hi again!
Thanks so much for the glue advice. I tried making a seashell mirror last fall with my hot glue gun. Not a good thing.
    Here's the "before" link: http://ernamarie.blogspot.com/2006/11/to-mama-luau-and-hula-harry.html#links

um, there is no "after" photo because it turned out to be a disaster.

I still have tons of shells, so maybe I'll give it another go.
Thanks for the advice and inspiration! :)
