Secondhand bliss

One bag of legos at thrift store, $3 + One rubbermaid bin of legos at thrift store, $2.92 = many, many hours of quiet, imaginative, independent play.

Secondhand bliss.

  3. jerrett is obsessed with legos! everytime we go to the store he wants legos. we have so many plus a ton more in storage. the only problem is stepping on them! jerrett cut the bottom of his foot the other day. minus the ouch factor he keeps super busy with them and makes some amazing things from cars, jet skis, rollercoaster cars, you name it.

  6. I thought all kids loved Legos because my little brother adored them all his life. My son was a weird bird and did not, well not at a young age. Now he is 15 and will spend days with them if his friends are with him. They make all sorts of cool contraptions. He still won't play with them by himself though, he's easily bored unless he has an audience. Again, consider yourself VERY lucky that Jack loves them so much at this age!

ps thanks for the a/c advice! We've had no trouble from it since but our temps have dropped from the 101-104 range back down to the 90-93 range. Whew.

  8. I LOVED legos as a kid!! I always wanted the small ones, but mom would never get them for me. I was stuck with the big ones, but I made do. :o)

My kids have the big ones and play with them for HOURS! I have some small ones stashed away for when they are older and I am always on the lookout for more at yard sales.
