Bare bright and shiny

3 hours later I have one bare (and already down) Christmas tree...
a pile of glass beads and birds...
and one bright and shiny New Year. (And 3 more hours worth of ornament putting away duty!)

(Never mind that I have ketchup all over me from a little lunch incident with a wild child, so *I* am not so bright and shiny. Ahem.)

Happy New Year to you.

  1. Happy New Year! Bubba and Mooser started theirs by peeing in cups. My parents were mortified until I told them that the boys had to "pee in a cup" for their yearly check ups this week. Then my dad thought it was funny. Bubba also dumped the entire bottle of champange down the drain because "it's bad for people!" My step-mom did not react well. I am looking forward to putting the Christmas stuff away...it doesn't talk back and it listens. ;)

  6. All those beautiful ornaments on the bed are almost more beautiful than on the tree. How EVER do you store them all. I've never been a shiny brite collector, but you've given me the bug.
