A yard sale miracle

It's a yard sale miracle! I actually bought something. A white McCoy flower pot with a bamboo design.
And something else! A toadstool Shiny Brite.

Yes, a single ornament. LOL
Oh wait, there's more! A shabby chic shower curtain. (I actually already have one of these. I loved this one so freaking much I bought it full price at Target. You can pick up your jaw now. I was happy to find another one that I can cut up.)
Jack got something too, a free bag of pipe cleaners. He made me a bracelet, then himself a necklace, then we made glasses for his owl on his shirt (He has them hanging from the necklace), then glasses for himself.

Free pipe cleaners + Jack = 45 minutes of quiet fun. Awesome.

I think all he needs now is a cape, don't you?

P.S. He recommends putting tape over the sharp edges so they don't poke you. It was all his idea, and a darn fine idea at that if I do say so myself.

LOL! I like the fancy glasses! My kids want those(pricey) "bendaroos" from the t.v. commercials. So I get them pipe cleaners at the Dollar Tree and keep them in my purse for restaurants.

I have the bedding that goes with that shower curtain. Always wanted the curtain, just didnt want to pay for it. So I would be super excited too! Love Jack and the pipe cleaners, super cute!

Hooray! It's about time you found a few things.

My kids love pipe cleaners too. We make all sorts of things with them.

That photo of Jack makes me smile. So cute! He's a smart little dude, too.

Great finds. I love the flower pot. I have yet to go to a yard sale this year. Maybe this weekend.

Glad the yard-sale drought is over. I'll keep Jack's advice in mind when I make myself a pair of pipe-cleaner glasses.

You made out like a beautiful bandit!!! The shower curtain...!!! Shiny Brite.....(swoon!)

I adore pipecleaners....shiny ones are my faves. I am known for sitting quietly in my recliner twisting pipecleaners in to all kinds of shapes...then my DH steps on the pieces I have cut and gets his foot stabbed....lol!!!

Hugs,
Deanna :D

love the shower curtain! I recently found some Mary Kate & Ashley pillowcases that I have always loved at 2 separate garage sales - now I can cut & combine to make something else lovely!

Jack is so cute! I love that he cared enough about the owl on his shirt being able to see properly too! I have that same McCoy pot, but it's got a big crack in it. I agree that the shower curtain is going to look fabulous cut up and made into something, anything. Target has the cutest stuff!

Love your McCoy!
And I have the same shower curtain...paid full price, too. It was just soooo pretty. I'm still waiting for a project worthy of cutting into it. LOL

I will have to pick up some pipecleaners! I'm already running out of summer projects to keep my 5yr old niece busy.

Kimberly :)
