dreamy. totally dreamy. you lucky lucky girl.
SWEET!!!
Woohoo! Is that beautiful or what? And it still has the matching gloves, wow! What a find, Sarah. You really do get the neatest things. I am envious. lol Though I have to admit that going through the boxes in Mom's storage unit is almost like going to my own private flea market. It has been such hard work, but I have found some really cool items. We only have until tomorrow to empty the storage out and my house and patio are absolutely covered. (yikes!) As soon as I can slow down a bit, I am going to learn how to make a proper post with pictures and links etc. Perhaps I can share some of the lovely collections Mama has gotten over the years. That ought to make quite a few posts for a while. Anyway, I love that dress and can just imagine how lovely some young girl felt putting it on for her special day ;-) --Leslie
Amazing - but, yes, what will you do with it. Let us know when you decide!
What a beautiful dress what a great find! I bet you were thrilled! Hugs, Diane
ooooooo sooooo pretty!! wouldn't have left it either:)
that's beautiful! I have to admit, i'm more than a little jealous right now!
Hi Sarah,
hope you and yours are doing well.
What a treat to find such a sweet photo of a vintage prom dress and how wonderful that you rescued it! The gloves are dreamy..thanks for sharing!
Hugs,
Deanna :D
Look on the Country Living site. They have a little girl's room that they hung some old prom style dresses on the wall and it is SO cute!
What a lucky find!
Oooh, I'm thinking you could make something super fun for little Ms. Thing!!!
You shall frame it and hang it on Miss Thing's wall. When she is older, maybe she will be a vintage diva and wear it with great delight. I would!
It's luscious, and just the kind of thing I would want gracing the dress form I hope to find for my daughter one day!
GORGEOUS!! You're lucky I don't live closer, I would totally steal that. ;) LOVE the gloves!
gorgeous!!!
