A sleepyheaded Jack discovers the joy of books, at last! I had to remove all the fancy decorating books, as he was tearing them up, but, he seems pleased with the board book replacements. *I* am pleased that he can sit there for an hour and entertain himself with books! Yahooo for Jack.

Jack, fresh from the tub, checks out his reflection. I am quite pleased with how well this photo turned out! Yea for me on improving my photography skills, which is something I really longed to do, well before Jack was here.

I made Jack this goofy, fun donkey from a vintage toy pattern I bought at an antique store for a whole dollar. He?/She? isn't perfect, but, it turned out pretty cute and Jack seems to enjoy it. Well, the tail at least.

Jack shows off his new teeth! Tooth number 2 has finally arrived. Damn, I love those cute baby teeth. :-)

Jack sports his father's jean jacket, circa 1974. Too hot (and too ugly?) to wear, I had to try it on him before he outgrew it.

Jack squeals with delight while clutching a laminated photo of a baby. He really loves looking at other baby faces, and apparently, this one is pretty tasty too! In the background is phase one of operation slow down the Jack Attack. He is now successfully penned into the living room by TWO baby gates at each doorway. Now, if I could only get him to stop eating every little thing he finds on the area rug.

Of course! Destruction followed by paper eating. A favorite hobby to be sure.

Jack on a little milestone day. How about that mischievous grin? You know what that is leading to...

Mom's project for the day. Besides finishing Jack's sock monkey (photo still to come), I made him this alligator onesie. So cute! And so easy, that I am embarrassed to tell you how I did it! I am all about crafting baby things these days...

What more can a baby need besides a bottle, a mohawk and rubber pants???

Jack does his best grumpy old man look. I think it works. Scarily so, actually. Thanks to great-grandpa for the hat! (Yes grandpa, the hat is too big for you, I know, I know!)

Jack, Cori and Zallie share a little birthday love. Happy fourth birthday to Cori!!! She and Jack are really great together, he adores the attention from her.

It's a Jack-and-the-box! This was just before the big BANG, whereby Jack fell down and nearly broke his crown. His first big boo-boo. :-(

Jack investigates an apple. With his new tooth, of course. While it looks like he is eating it, I assure you, he did nothing more than lick it and throw it around the kitchen. At least this was a few good minutes of quiet entertainment!

Jack and dad hanging out playing on kneebouncers.com. Jack was so enthralled he didn't even bother to stop and pose for the camera. (Posing is his new favorite hobby, so this says a lot.) I LOVE how he has his little feet crossed.

The back of the art smock I made for my niece. There was a small, umm, pin emergency during creation, that resulted in a LOT of blood, but never the less, it turned out way better than I had expected.

I made this tote for my niece's birthday. I hope she likes it, I am quite pleased with it.
