...and finger snapping! (Can you see his cute little shirt with the froggy that says Kiss Me?) So, props were abandoned in favor of photos of a smiling toddler, which REALLY made my day. (And are so hard to capture lately. The digital camera delay really is a buzzkill. And yes, he IS playing with the old thermometer. Whatever keeps him happy.)

Jack had his first trip to the dentist today. He managed to break another tooth (on the bottom this time), and I was so distraught there was nothing to do but see the dentist. He did really great actually, I was quite proud of him, and I think we have solved the tooth breaking mystery so that hopefully that is the end of it. (Cross your fingers!)

Jack's aunt Kristin is one of the 5 finalists in Queen Latifah's Confidence Awards. Lucky her! As a finalist she was awarded $3,000 for her non-profit organization, GIFT, and a trip to NY to meet Latifah. We are wishing her luck on her journey to be the grand prize winner!

In other news, I was browsing my archives here while Jack is resting and holy crap. Jack looks so little when I started this blog.

I entered him in a beautiful baby contest this week. I always feel bad about not doing so when he is, of course, the most beautiful baby in the world! Here's hoping we win something cool.

Mmmmmm, these popsicles are terrific for chewing on with very swollen gums. Those molars are taking forever to break through, come on already! Dave found the perfect popsicles though, Popsicle brand mighty minis. They are toddler sized and good for mommies too at only 12 calories a pop!
