Happy Birthday Daddy! (P.S. Chalk is fun, but not so good for eating, just so ya know.) Posted by Picasa

We took Jack to the 64th annual Moolah Shriner's parade on Sunday. It is the 4th annual trip for us, and this year it was HOT! HOT! HOT! Last year it was so cold we could hardly stand it. Jack was quiet and pensive, there is a lot to take in, but, I still think he enjoyed it. Here he is seriously studying the cars as they go by.

We saw lots of "vrooom, vroooms" (Jack really loves motorcyles at the moment. Everytime he sees one he says Vrooom! vrooom!)...

...and clowns (Jack wonders about the gloves)...

My beautiful, bright, bubbly, baby boy is 18 months old today!! (Do I sound like Dr Seuss yet?)

We had a very busy few days around here. Jack got his first "real" haircut (there was a lot of screaming and crying involved, but he looks so handsome in the end), we had our big easter party on Saturday (in the rain, but fun anyway!), and the Easter bunny came on Sunday. Jack loved pulling things out of his basket. I loaded it up with dinosaurs (even inside the plastic eggs), some cookies and lots of little travel sized soap and lotion containers. (Jack LOVES carrying around mommy's lotions and potions for some reason. We joke that he is going to be a pharmacist.)

Hey mom! The Easter "bun" left dinosaurs in here! (How do you think they will taste?)

Jack enjoys the new playhouse that Grandma and Grandpa Parrack bought for him. Of course, his favorite part is that it came with a telephone. His phone conversations go something like this "Hello? Hello? blah, blah, blah, baby babble, bye-bye!"

Knock knock! Who's there?

I made a wee bunny from wee wonderfuls. She is so cute! And so perfectly shabby chic. Pink roses on the back and vintage blue flocked roses on the front. (Finally a chance to use that vintage fabric.) She deserves a brighter photo, but it's rainy and we are stuck in the basement. Many thanks to weewonderfuls.typepad.com!

We took Jack to see the Easter "bun", as he calls it. As usual, he is a superstar when visiting wierd creatures on mommy's whim. He saw me uploading this picture and exclaimed "Baby!" Awwww, my smart "baby."

Spring has finally sprung, and we are getting good use out of our nice fenced in backyard. The swing I scored last year for 50 cents! makes Jack exclaim....
