5 New (to me) blogs


Another holiday decoration from the estate sale.

I have been tagged by Christy for the Try Five Challenge.

Since I visit a lot of new blogs in any given week already (I like clicking on the links of the people who have left comments on blogs I already visit, and I always check out your blog if you visit me here and leave me a comment also!), I think I will just share some new favorites this week.

Rose Hip is gorgeous, look at her quilt in her banner!
Sweet Nothings How cute are those apples?
Small Wonders This blog makes me feel so, so serene.
Fresh Vintage, her story about her mom and the yard sale still cracks me up.
The Chic Life, her template is gorgeous!

P.S. Just in case any other blog-a-holics don't know about it yet, I always use Bloglines for reading blogs. My reading list is over 80 blogs now, and it really does save a lot of time and frustration. No more forgetting where I saw something gorgeous!

    I thought of you today...after weeks of ho hum thrifting, I finally came home with a haul! I got a Never Fall Rusian Doll that they sell at Plastica in Beverly Hills for $1! I got two tiny pink milk glass type tea cups $1, a vintage eggnog cup 50C, a sheet for sewing $2, some napkins $2, a shabby chic painted tin tray $2. A couple of vintage Little Golden Books 25C each. For weeks I have been watching you and Rebecca and thinking, "what is wrong with thrifting in LA?" I guess it is the hunt that makes it fun, but I was ready for a catch! Since dh wont care, I just had to share!
