This is not the greatest photo (my camera battery died right then and I had to pick them up before the cats attacked), but when we redid the living room we had to put all the pottery on the kitchen table.
Whoa.
I had counted it before, so I knew there was a ton, but it made one big lovely pottery sale on the kitchen table while we were working!
And to think I only set out to collect pottery about 3 years ago. LOL
You "might" want to pair that down a little before the wee one shows up just for sanity's sake (and to make a few bucks)... pick out 1/2 - all your favorites and put them up and list the rest! Fast! Before you rethink it!
I love when collections grow right before your eyes, whats even better is remembering where, when, and how you bought it... the story behind each treasure!!!
I agree with Sarah, keep it all. It's a wonderful collection. It's hard to sell what it took you so long to collect. I feel that way about my cookie jars. Hope you can get some cool weather soon. It's going to be 105 degrees today in Texas. Thanks for visiting my blog. :) Bren
So many gorgeous pieces!!! I love vintage pottery, but I only have a couple few pieces so far. Your collection is fabulous!

I had about 125 the last time I counted too. I never even set out to collect it - it just came to me piece by piece. Don't you just love it?
ReplyDeleteWow! And I thought I was bad about milk glass!

ReplyDeleteI'm envious! And I wouldn't pare it down. It's an amazing collection.
