At my house:
I used a little Etsy money to buy my dressing up loving girl a snowman costume instead of a pumpkin for awhile. She is in L O V E. (I also bought myself a bra! Go me. I never buy anything for myself like that and after nursing two babies in succession it was way past time. LOL)
Someone has learned to climb. But still not even close to walking?!?!
This means if you come over to my house there will be no -
chairs to sit on
toilet paper to wipe with
lamps to see by (breaking bulbs or constantly unplugging them)
no scissors to cut with
no drawers that open without magnets
nothing on the advent calendar (Sammi is very possessive of it and yesterday removed all the ornaments. I cannot find them. I looked in the trashcans - gross - the drawers, etc. Gone.)
and very soon, no Christmas tree (they are driving me NUTS! They will not leave it plugged in, the climb up it take off the damn ornaments, they will not leave the skirt on, and oh yea, that driving it around the house thing)
These two are seriously the not twin terrors.
I finished the vintage purple quilt top! Dave took the kids out of the house for a few hours on Sunday and I was able to get it done. I literally had to sew until I was about to pass out though. I am so slow now with the arthritis, I have to take breaks and an hour is about my limit at the machine.
With any luck I will get it basted this week so that during Christmas break I can work on the quilting and binding.
Because there is some talk of a giant snowmaggedon coming our way on Saturday. Bah humbug!
Who would have thought those two would become such a force when paired together..the twin terrors! OMG. And Sam in that costume..melts any snowy heart.
ReplyDeleteSam is absolutely precious in that costume. Your quilt is wonderful too.
ReplyDeleteWay too cute of a snowgirl! And I love the quilt, can't wait to see it finished.
ReplyDeleteCute snowman! And omg that climbing rascal would give me a heart attack if I turned around and saw that! And I LOVE the quilt. So worth the hunt for purples!
