Somehow I hadn't realized that historic St Charles has a Halloween event that is similar to the Christmas one we all really enjoy. We managed to make it there on the very last day they were open, and it was a super fun time for all of us. There was a hay ride, a scavenger hunt, a Victorian museum (my fav), and loads of historical characters scattered among the streets. My kids learned SO MUCH from the actors! (Plus they enjoy collecting the stamps.)
The make up and costumes are AMAZING.
(Sam is supposed to be looking wretched, LOL)
We will definitely be doing this again next year!
