Halloween Swap Group 2

Man this has been a busy morning!

The last of the Halloween swap:
There were multiple shapes of glittered candy boxes from Jamie.
Gorgeous paper bat ornaments from Michaele (who is oh so sick right now, feel better soon!).
Paint stick pumpkins from Toni.
And the peg doll girls from Beth that very nearly gave me a fit. I MEAN so cute! How is a girl supposed to choose which one to keep? Pumpkin...
or kitty cat?

I choose the kitty. She reminds me most of Sammi girl.
These gave me a fit of another kind - paper banners from Megan. (Whose blog blogger says is no longer there.)  Only because of how long it took me to sort out how to get a decent photo of them for you.
While desperately searching for a non windy locale I put this one on my quilt cabinet and smokes I love it there.
I need to move the kids spiders because this one is meant to be in that spot.

These really are cool. Maybe Shara will figure out how to get a better photo for us.

Thank you to all of the swappers for making this one of the best swaps yet!

Till next year?

Halloween swap group 1

Packing up the boxes was a heck of a challenge this year!
Putting the play kitchen in a corner of the dining was the best idea I ever had. It makes a huge mess, but it also keeps the little busy while I am making dinner. Or packing boxes. :-)
Until Grant decides to unpack them and eat the tissue!

The Halloween swap was AWESOME this year. So much goodness to love.
 Mikey used bingo cards.
Jane Made teeny, tiny fabric pumpkins. My photo does not do them justice.
The ever crafty Kim made AMAZING little boxes. The witches even have tulle and there are little brooms on top and honeycomb pumpkins. I have had to snatch this one back from Sammi girl more than once.
Clever Tiff made his legs from paper straws! I love the way they dangle.
Lisa made us cup cozies. The bunting was the one said own me, but there were other cute patterns. (And  a photo that needed to be cropped better.)
And last, but never least, Shara made awesome doily spider webs. (I tried both black and orange backgrounds so you could really see the doily in the back, I failed.)

Back tomorrow with the rest of them!

Let the haunting begin... :-)

I am a sucker for handprint projects

I saw the handprint spiders on pinterest so I had Dave help me do them this weekend.

Man, I love handprint projects. I need to do the ghost feet with the little kids too.
Grant. (He actually did better at this than my other two kids at his age, usually it's a bloody nightmare.)
Jack.
Sam.

I FINALLY finished these skulls on platters too.

Not gonna lie, they are super fun.

I seem to be having several craft successes in a row.

Something is bound to be a fail soon. LOL.

*Had to take Sammi to a walk in care clinic this morning. She is SO snotty and yesterday her poor little eyes started gluing shut. Since she is sick we have just been hanging out close to home all weekend. It's nice (and blessedly unbusy!), but I did really want to hit the pumpkin patch this weekend to take photos. Boo.

Halloween Swap take 2

Boo!

It's the first of September.

Halloween swap time.

Yes, it's early. But I need to have the whole month of September to create since I have two birthdays in the coming month.
A little taste of some of the fun from last time.

And the beginning of what's brewing in my head for this year!

Here's the deal:
You will make 13 ornaments. Send them to me by September 30th along with $5 to help pay for sending them back to you. I will repack boxes and send one of each of the ornaments the first week of October. You will be getting thirteen new to you ornaments in your box (but not one of your own, make an extra to keep!).

I will only accept THIRTEEN swappers.

To sign up you will need to email me at makinprojiks@gmail.com.

Sign ups will be open until we are full or Weds September 4.

I will send a confirmation email out on Friday September 6 to all swappers.

Now go get your craft on!
